Flogr - Flickr Photoblog Software

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

I installed a photoblog on my webserver for easy accessing my photos from flickr. It’s called flogr and you can download it here ;http://code.google.com/p/flogr/

It’s pretty easy to setup, the only thing you need is a webserver with PHP support. You need to edit the config.php file (most important is to get your flickrid , you can get it here http://idgettr.com/) and after that upload the files to your webserver.

Looks pretty cool I think, check out my photoblog here http://www.tjeerdoo.com/photos/index.php

Some info from the website;

Flogr is a photoblog application for flickr that let’s you display your flickr photos (including EXIF data), sets, tags, comments, and slideshows on your website through the customizable flogr interface.

Flogr is powered by PHP, MySQL, and Flickr. It is an easy to setup and easy to customize alternative for folks that currently hack their own photoblog using MT or Wordpress, or those trying to make Gallery or Pixelpost work with Flickr. If you use Flickr and want to have your own photoblog, but don’t want to hack blog software or upload the same pictures multiple times (to flickr and pixelpost for example) then Flogr may be what you’re after.
