Geotagging
May 11th, 2008Geotagging is the art of adding location information to things like a photo. On the popular website Flickr you can explore photos on a map, and you can even contribute by adding your own photos with geotags.
Here’s a tutorial on using trippermap to give your photos from flickr that extra information.

Google Earth is by far the best source of geographic information on the web. Combined with the Trippermap Geotagger you can easily add geographic information or “geotags” to your own Flickr photos. Adding geotags allows you to use various web scripts and applications designed by the Flickr community. Check out GMiF (Google Maps in Flickr), Geobloggers or Trippermap.
